From a young age, I have always loved fashion and interiors I remember being 9 or 10 years old and dressing in two-piece suits with bold tights, inspired by the cult classic film 'Clueless.' Decorating my room, I would change my room around, painting stripes on my walls, endlessly inspired by my monthly subscription to Elle magazine.

I spent my formative years working in retail with a great team of women, later moving into visual merchandising and further progressing to a BA Hons degree in textile design, taking inspiration from interiors and fashion. My path certainly hasn't been a straight one, but the common thread has been creativity and style—something I fully evoke, enjoy, and understand. I have always loved flowers, having watched my grandparents spend lots of time tending to their garden as child.

However, since becoming a mum in 2017, I developed a hunger to create, which is where my path to floral design began. After attending a few workshops that really fed my soul, I secured a job at a florist shop, and I have endless gratitude to my manager, Gail, for giving me the opportunity with very little floristry experience.

After two years, I was eager to move on to weddings alone, so I began The Green Room in 2020—with little money but a big dream and lots of determination to succeed.

I love seeing our weddings come to life, the joy really is a dream come true - to play a part in the most special day of someone's life, truly an honour. I'm eager to continue to grow The Green Room and look forward to what the future holds.

Outside of work, my home in Malvern is my favourite place to be, which I share with my husband and two wonderfully lively children. Our weekends are filled with activities, picnics, scooter rides, coffee stops and sports clubs, and in between, I have somehow become a runner, which is my perfect escape. I am happiest in summer, in warm weather, by the beach, with an Aperol in hand, preferably.
